Zuki's hert saddened, they were both immobilized now. She wouldn't let that happen again, she couldn't let that happen again. She concentrated, her reiatsu swirling, ragin inside of her she'd break this, definately, she just needed something cold, that would do it for sure. She thought for a moment, That's it! One of my new kidous! She opened her mouth as much as she could, whispereing softly under her breath. "Snow covered grounds, frozen lakes, hear my cry, this earth shall crumble in fire and ice! Ice Technique: Frozen Reinforcment!" A chill of cold ran through her body, feeling and movement returning to her limbs.
She slowly stood up, walked cautiously across the floor and rab her zanpakutoh, unsheathing it and dropping the sheath. "I'm not fooled easily, you can't use the same tricks twice."

Merk giggled. "Ms. Lieutenant, I think you're having a little trouble with who you're talking to. I'm taking your Captain to Hueco Mundo. If you don't want to experience the pain he's going to, stay out of our way." He walked over and nudged Roren with his foot. "Out cold, and he'll be that way for days. He's still in as much pain as when awake, but he doesn't even have the energy to scream."
This fact seemed to amuse him, and he began laughing gleefully. "Now, please, sheath the zanpakuto. Just because you were able to move, doesn't mean you won. If I had focused on you, you'd already be dead..."

She shunpo'd infront of Merk. "Don't you touch him!" She pointed Aisu Hishu straight at his nose. "I wouldn't be so sure you could've taken me down so easily. Physical pain can't compare to emotional pain, you'd know that. We are one in the same, you can't kill me, you won't." She looked up at him. "You just don't understand, I want him here, you want him there, the captain of this squad will not end up in that horrid place!" She make careful not to say the captains name or who exactly it was, because, Zuki wouldn't go to Heuco Mundo, she'd die before that. "You were a shinigami once, now your just scum, so step away from him you lowlife if you want to keep your face in the same pattern!"

Merk chuckled again. "Us? One in the same? Please. You lose your compsure oh so easily. I can tell that for the past few years, you've had on a poker face, hiding a lot of pain. I can see pain from a mile away." He laughed, and kicked Roren. "If you really want to attack me, feel free. But don't expect me to be as kind as I was earlier. If you're smart, I'll be leaving now..."

"You may be right on somethings but on others you're wrong. I don't loose my composure, only once I'ce lost my composure and I'm sorry to say that that isn't now." She walked up to him slowly, whispering ever so softly," Merk Jigrent, even when the gates of Hell opened before me I didn't loose it, maybe now you have a better idea of who you're dealing with. I won't in a million years let you take my captain there." She backed away again. "No maybe if he'd listen to me we wouldn't be in this jam but, as we all know, the young, beautiful witty lieutenant who always warns her captain of danger is NEVER listened to." She grinned.

Merk smiled. "You know my name, that's a sign of obsession. And who called you young and witty? You're older than I am, and I don't see many jokes." He smirked. His disposition upset people easily, but this girl kept her cool. He didn't mind. "Either way, I'll be leaving now." He picking Roren up, and put him on his shoulder. "I hope you make the right decision!" He said, and began walking out of the room...

She shunpo'd infront of him again. "Sorry if this is the wrong choice but apparently I'm really good at making them. Now give him back or I will attack," She said in a stern voice. The hilt of Zuki's hilt grew cold, apparently Aisu Hishu was angry as well. "Now just put my captain gently on the floor."

Merk dropped Roren on his front, breaking his nose. "Well, now you've done it..." He turned, his eyes showing no emotion. "Now, you'll die. And once you're dead, I'm going to take this man back to Hueco Mundo. And there, he will endure years upon years of torture, until he begs for death. And when he begs for death, we will tell him we are sending him back to Seritei, only to slam the gate in front of him again. He will be my puppet, my plaything. I will entertain myself by inflicting pain upon him."
Merk laughed, and said, "And the best part? He'll never sustain any injuries, so I can keep at it. WHen his mind breaks down, and this once brilliant man becomes a drooling vegetable...he will think of you, and how you failed him..."

Zuki's zanpakutoh shook slightly in her hands. "Don't talk like that!" She gulped. "I won't, I can't, I-I promised someone," A tear rolled down her cheek. She fell back against the closest wall, loosing almost all will to fight. "Kill me then, if you want to, I'm not afraid to die, and I warn you, I don't die easily." She leaned her sword against the wall. "Ice technique: Frost bite." She sent a wave of ice shards mixed with a cold breeze his way, careful to avoid Roren.

Merk smiled. "Simple..." He said, avoiding the ice with Shunpo. He spun, and delievered a blow from his Shikai. He once again used the technique Rangis taught him, to let it pass through physical objects to get to its destination. He hoped she tried guarding with her zanpakuto, because then she would truly have lost...

She bent her knees and pushed herself across the floor halfheartedly. Don't give up Zuki, you can't, you're a captain. She stood up again. "I told you before, I'm not easily beat." She said softly. She pushed herself to go father than she wanted, those kidous had taken a lot but she needed them, she didn't have enough strength to lift a zanpakutoh. Her time was running out, one or two more of those kidou's and she'd be out of luck, but that was only if she could buy herself that much time in the first place.

Merk could tell his enemy was tired, judging by her breathing. "Pathetic..." He said, and then unleashed an attack via Shunpo. He was everywhere at once, it seemed, surrounding her and striking on each side with his Shikai. He could not use his technique, since he did not have the strength or willpower to use both Shunpo and that at the same time, but he could easily win...

Zuki blinked. Her eyes couldn't follow his movement, not at the moment, she was to weak. "What's wrong, big, tough guy won't hurt a helpless girl?" She snickered. "Or maybe you can't? Can you? Be honest now, liars never win in the end." She sighed, her last chance was to out wit him and if that didn't work than she was done for, definitaly.

Merk's voice appeared amidst his Shunpo. "I don't see any little girls here. I see one lady that needs to be taught a LESSON!" And with that, he lunged for her, swiping several times over and over, trying to overwhelm her with his attacks. She was done for, but Merk wanted to finish her now...

She stepped back avoiding the first few attacks. "And what lesson would that be? How to die maybe? I think I can do that perfectly well myself thank you very much." She jumped backward. "The only lesson I need to learn is how to be a proper lady, and believe me, that will NEVER happen," She grabbed a windowsill and tossed herself up onto the small ledge above it, standing on only a narrow piece of wood. "But please do go on."
