Roren coughed off the blow, trying to double over. "Cero?" He wheezed. "Ain't that the Zero in Spanish? Don't worry, nobody here thinks you're a zero. If by nobody you mean pretty much everyone." This Arrancar was a hot blooded one. Perhaps if he annoyed him enough, the thing might make the mistake of getting too violent...

Rangis eyed the prisoner. He wanted to see how his Espada would react. One needed more than power to help raise an empire. His followers would need intelligence. Well, at least some intelligence. This was a test, but if things got out of hand, Rangis had no problem punching a hole in someone's stomach...

Merk watched, along with Rangis. He knew that Rangis had the situation under control, but he suddenly started feeling nervous. Would they all be destroyed because of this Shinigami's big mouth? Merk knew Rangis could protect him, but he didn't want Miss Taka to die. And they needed the Captain...

Taka snickered, laughing but keeping herself silent. "What a big mouth you have Shinigami." She folded her hands over her stomach. "If nothing I do enjoy watching him insult Sakrikao, but then again, that's always enjoyable!" She sighed happily. "I'm ok now. Well, as ok as someone in my position can be." She leaned her back up against a wall, watching the show happily. She hadn't seen an old fashior torture in a while and was definitely due for one. The last one had been a while ago and though her zanpakutoh was almost equal to torture it wasn't as good as the old fashion 'Do-it-yourself' techniques.
"Maybe the shinigami would comply if someone just showed a little respect? Normally I'm not one for being kind but as the smartest person in the Soul Society I give the man credit, at least for insulting Sakrikao so I don't have to." She walked to Roren, standing by his head and looking down at him. "What do you think you're getting at shinigami? Even if you don't give us the information we need I'm sure others can. Then not only will you be in pain but they will too." She bent down close to his ear, her lips almost touching it. "If you care about them so much then why bring about their untimely deaths?"

Sakrikao's cold eyes turned to look at Taka, while he knew that he was constantly harassed, it was starting to get to that...point. "This isn't the time Taka..." He muttered as he turned his attention back to the pathetic Shinigami. This Shinigami was a tough one to crack, perhaps a bit to tough. He knew Captains had a reputation but one like this? It began to irritate hiim. Perhaps if verbal harassment and physical beating wasn't enough he could always go to the next best thing as Taka had began to point out vaguely.
Sakrikao removed his hand from the Shinigami's head as he paced around him once again, his long silver hair keeping in toe behind him. "Well then I see you don't want to talk." He smiled for a moment as his mandibles clicked together once as if talking to himself. "Perhaps...your Lieutenant may be a bit more willing eh?" He stopped in front of the Shinigami as he removed his blade from its sheath. His hands graced up and down it for a moment as if implying something. "I'm sure I can find time in my...busy shcedule to make a trip to Soul Society...of course I would have my fun as well." His sarcastic voice now in full tone as he let the blade waft in the air in front of the Shinigami to contemplate his descision.

"Don't you touch her, you piece of trash!" Roren shouted, suddenly. Then, he hung his head. "Please...please don't...I'll tell you what I know of the Hougyoku. Just, keep away from them. You can do whatever you want to me, but...but just leave them out of this..." He sighed. Then, he smirked. "By the way, Espada. That blade looks awful dull. I suppose that would make sense, considering it holds your true form..."

Rangis laughed. "Well, then, now that you're willing to talk, tell me. If I were to find the inactive Hougyoku, how would I activate it?" He stared, awaiting the answer. His Espada had proved useful in this interrogation...

Merk kept his head down, listening. Finally, they had his cooperation, and now they would hear the secrets of the Hougyoku. It all came down to this. And then, those other 2 Espada, Gabriel and Haydn, Merk thought, could find the Hougyoku itself...

Taka sighed happily, moving beside Sakrikao. "Don't ruin it," She sid under her breath. "We could settle this later or I could just keep harrassing you until you snap. I personally prefer the second choice because your so easily thrown of your track. It's amusing really, maybe if you kept your cool more easily we wouldn't have to worry about these little disputes." She moved around across to him. "So tell us, shinigami, about this mysterous marvel the Hougyoku." She crossed her arms. "If you really care about Snow Ice and the Big Bad Puppy back home."

Sakrikao lifted his eyes as well as his head up as the Shinigami finally let loose a bit of rage at his comments. It appeared that talking about the girl was a bit of a touchy subject for him, probably something he would want to exploit further. "I think it would be in your best interest to tell us what we want now...or perhaps your Lieutenant..." He snickered for a moment as his serious voice left his mouth. "Might find herself liquified by my Zanpakuto." His face gave yet another grim smile as he watched for the Shinigami's reaction. Oh how the tables had turned on him. He glanced back over to Taka as his smile faded. She always had to ruin his fun.
"Taka, you're quite lucky I haven't run you through with my Zanpakuto by now." His face contorted slightly at her comments. He hated the harassment she gave him all the time even though he realized it was just a bit of 'competition'. It wasn't like he would kill another Espada unless they refused to obey orders. That would be the ultimate treason to him. Other than that he had to grin and bear their smart remarks.

Roren took this in, and nodded. "Well, ok. How to activate it? There's an 'on' switch, see? And you flip it." He looked, mockingly, from one face to another. "Bah, I can tell you don't buy that. Well, except maybe him." He said, pointing to Sakrikao. "I could tell he was thinking Man, an on switch! How devious!" He sighed.
"Alright, to activate the Hougyoku, you first need to understand what the Hougyoku is. The Hougyoku, you see, is a parasite. It infects the host, and feeds off of spiritual energy."

After chuckling at Roren's mocking of Sakrikao, yet again, Rangis took in this bit of information. "I see, so what you're saying is, the Hougyoku does not generate its own energy, but rather siphons it from a host?" He nodded. It seemed convincing. "Go on, how would one activate it?"

Merk nodded his head, as well. It made sense to him, at least. Rukia Kuchiki lost her powers, until the Hougyoku was removed. And it required a being with the power of twice of a Captain to use. Therefore, it must require energy from a host. He did not say this, letting Rangis question, but his eyes showed that he knew the truth...

Taka forgot the gam eshe was playing and listened intently, she wasn't always concerned with making someones life miserable, just most of the time she was. She nodded slightly to herself. She wasn't the mst concerned person with the Hougyoku, that was more Rangis-sama's idea but if it helped create the fall of the Soul Society she was all for it, even if she didn't care how it worked.
Taka raised her eyebrows at Sakrikao. She doubted he would actually run her through with his zanpakutoh but rarely did anyone threaten her and if they did they usually woke up the next morning with some body part missing, a hand or a foot maybe, that's just the way she prefered to function. "How much can we actually trust from this man? Sure what he's saying is highly likely but as the smartest shingami you'd think he's be able to come up with some smart ass answer just to fool us. He could be fooling us right now just to protect his little friends at home. Or I could be wrong, but there is still reason to doubt him."

Sakrikao looked over to listen in on the murmers from the other Arrancar around him. His eye slightly twitched as he heard the snappy mouth of the Shinigami again. It was starting to quite crawl underneath his skin but he had to calm down a bit. He would get his fun eventually. "Finish your explaining before I drag more of you down here." He muttered, crossing his arms. Of course they would doubt him, he was the enemy after all. He still didn't trust that other Shinigami in their midst. "My patience is thin Shinigami." Sakrikao gritted his teeth waiting.
