So...it was a rather depressing day for Kyoko, not that it really much differed from any other day. The masses of paper work to fill out just kept coming in every day. Each time it ranged from various subjects such as simple recruit transfers, minor offenses, and those crazy ones from the Eleventh Division always breaking something at night due to their nasty drinking habits. It was actually starting to become a bit of a downer; however Kyoko made the effort to get it all done some way or another. Luckily for him he had finished the day's paper work early in the morning at the expense of some sleep, however it would be quite worth it in the end...or at least he hoped. He looked up at the sun for a moment with his hood covering his head. It was a rather bright day out, however he really didn't mind it so much. It always made Oumagatoki happy to be in such bright weather, especially when the moon was bright at night. To be honest, it made him happy to that his spirit was content with him and the surroundings. A pile of papers cradled in his arms shook ever so slightly as the wind brushed by every now and then. Kyoko kept a firm grip around the stack so the tricky wind wouldn't take his work away.
For some reason it reminded him of a song, a song that was sung to him as a child. He closed his eyes for a moment remembering it, At first humming the melody before actually singing the words to it ever so lowly. "I don't know...what words have to say..." He began as he opened his eyes once again. He was beginning to near the Gotei 13 offices to drop off his work load, however began to slow down slightly at the comfort of the song he remembered. "The wind has a way...to talk to me..." It made him feel a bit better on the inside. Perhaps not as depressed about the consistent work load, but then again he didn't mind it as usual. It was his job after all in his Division, or at least one of the tasks at hand he had to do. For a moment he thought he had heard the wind pur. Looking around he saw nothing at first and disregarded the sound as nothing.
It wasn't until a few footsteps later that a cat darted across his path. In shock of this, Kyoko threw up his arms and crashed back first to the floor, papers fluttering down around him. At least the wind hadn't picked up again...however this thought was quickly put to rest as that tricky wind came back again. Scrambling to his feet, Kyoko began to fetch the fleeing papers and attempt to make a pile once again in his arms. "Oh, no no no no..." He pleaded out in slight frustration as he began to collect the papers in flight.

As the papers flew away, it seemed as though a few would escape Kyoko's clutches and disappear forever. However, luck was on this Captain's side as a hand reached out and quickly grabbed the papers. Walking towards Kyoko, the man smiled slightly as he handed the papers to Kyoko.
"I believe these are yours. You should be careful. I bet they wouldn't like it if you lost them" the man spoke, his voice gentle and calm. "Of course, they might not even believe you if you said something like the wind blew them away. Trust me, it's happened to me on a few occasions" the man chuckled as he spoke.
He was a man of average build who had a mop of brown hair on his head that was slowly graying. He had a similar colored goatee as well and wore the standard shinigami garb, with the addition of a Captain's haori that had sleeves. There was only one man this could be though. Sakata Saburo. "How are you, Kyoko-san?" he asked.

Zuki smiled and lowered her head, leaning her back against a wall. It was a nice day, but that didn’t matter to her. She was at a standstill in most of her research and her squad was currently working on all of that for her. She had wanted to stay and help out but they insisted that she take a break, and honestly, breaks were nice once in a while.
Some flying papers caught her eye, then the Soutaichou picking them up then disappearing out of her vision. She wondered who the other person was, she hadn’t seen anyone earlier. She stood up straight and took a few slow steps in the direction. Realizing her hair wasn’t up she flustered to tie it, she hated when people saw her looking so, well, uneducated. She proceeded, taking faster steps until she was nearly at her destination. She slowed her pace again and took the last to steps.
Recognizing both of them she sighed. She had known about Sakata Saburo but Kyoko was something she hadn’t expected. She raised an eyebrow. “Sakata-soutaichou, Renamori. Greetings.” She pushed a sweet smile to her lips.

Kyoko scrambled around reaching for the ever fleeting papers from his grasp as he watched another familiar figure grab those that escaped his grasp. His eyes laid upon their Soutaichou. Sakata Saburo, the Captain Commander. It was quite a shock to see him out as Kyoko recovered the papers from the man's grasp. He realized at that point he hadn't even said hello to his superior. Giving a slight bow, he opened his mouth in apology. "Of course Sakata Soutaichou. I was just on my way delivering these to each Division. If I would've known you were out..." He stopped short as he looked over to see the Division Twelve Captain round the corner.
He rushed over as he neatly organized his papers into a stack under his arm. For a moment he shuffled through them before taking a rather thick portion of the papers from underneath his arm and handing them to the Captain. "Ah, Kyohaku Taichou, your reports that you requested earlier. I'm sure you'll find the data satisfying. " There were a few more reports to deliver, however most of them were to the Captains that weren't at the meeting earlier. Basically recaps of the meeting.

"It is alright. I never really do tell people when I head out. My men keep saying I should stay in bed due to my condition. It'd cause them unnecessary panic if they knew I went out as often as I do" Saburo replied as Kyoko took the papers. The man never really got angry. No one knew why, but he seemed to be frighteningly optimistic. "But that is nothing. Tell me, how are you?" he asked again.
Turning his head a little as he heard a voice, he saw Tsukiyo and smiled at her. He waved and his lips parted to speak. "Hello, Tsukiyo-chan. Nice day so far, isn't it? How are you keeping up?" he asked her. He wasn't one for being very serious either. He mostly just spoke to others in a conversational tone outside of an important meeting and rarely did he act serious in front of others outside of then.

Zuki, still smiling reluctantly took the papers from Kyoko. "Thank you," She tucked them under her arm. She didn't really care if he thought she was happy or not it was the Captain-commander she was more worried about. She didn't care what they thought, just how they treated her. As most scientists, Zuki was more consumed with her work.
She turned her attention to Saburo. "It is a nice day, sir, very nice. I'm fine, my subordinates kicked me out of the lab though," She laughed. "Oh well, everyone deserves a break once in a while." She shrugged and put her hands on her hips. "So how is everyone today? Feeling well?" She had decided to be polite and ask the question even if she didn’t care, and she didn’t really. She was just disappointed that she couldn’t work.

"Ummm, well other than delivering these reports..." Kyoko started thinking of how to respond to the soutaichou. To be completly honest, he still wasn't used to the man's overly easy going personality. This might have something to do with his illness, however it was odd to see someone in such good spirits every day. Another thing that slightly had him on edge was Kyohaku Taichou. He never really got the feeling she trusted him at all, let alone ever wanted to engage in conversation. Kyoko didn't know how to continue at all, and normally he could've easily brought something else up in conversation.
Something had caught his tongue and he just couldn't place what exactly it was. Was it the Soutaichou's presence? Perhaps it was Kyohaku Taichou and her air of coldness towards him? Maybe both, however he didn't dwell on the thought too much. It wasn't too long after the meeting and Soul Society still seemed a little bit on edge since then. He had a few jitters in him, however not enough to warrent him showing them at all. With a slight sigh, Kyoko continued where he had left off.
"Most of the reports are just summaries of what happened at the previous meeting..." He still trailed off uneasy with the air around him.

Saburo smiled at Kyoko and replied. "Ah, good to know you're passing on the information. It saves me the hassle of going around to the others. Or at least, that's what the doctors say. Perhaps I should start listening to them more often. Oh well, my condition is nothing to worry about" Saburo stated. He was actually lying through his teeth about it being nothing to worry about, considering how much it limited his fighting capacity.
"Heh, I guess they really must have a good relationship with you to kick you out when you need a break" he stated, chuckling a bit at the idea of her being kicked out by her own subordinates. "I am doing well, as you can see, Tsukiyo-chan. How is the Garganta coming along, by the way?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Zuki looked at Kyoko, a puzzled look in her eye. Either it was her imagination or something was wrong. She shook the thought away, she didn’t really care how he was or what was going on in his life, it wasn’t her problem.
She turned her attention back to the Soutaichou. “Well a good relationship isn’t exactly what I’d call it, but I suppose if I tried to go back they’d just kick me out again.” She laughed this time, not one her fake, fooling laughs but a real, happy and filled with joy laugh.
“And as for the Garganta, yes, everything is moving at a steady pace. We have made progress but I can’t give an exact estimate on when it’ll be done, I’m not sure.” She bit her thumb in thought for a few moments. “It’s a long process, not something easily dealt with, but I suppose the rate we’re working at is a good one, under the circumstances.”
Zuki turned her attention back to Kyoko. “Is something wrong, Renamori?”

For a fleeting moment, Kyoko felt himself distant from the world he was in, another plane of existance you could say. He felt his body begin to drift as the voices he heard faded away into the silence of the air. For the moment there was peace. This peace didn't last long as screams of torment began to fill the air. Kyoko's eyes widened slightly to as his realization came back to reality. He blinked a few times before noticing Kyohaku Taichou questioning him. Normally he would've said something about what had happened, after all he was a rather outspoken person most of the time.
The slight nightmare just seemed to chilling though, it wasn't something he would be so inclined to tell about so readily. Something was bothering him still, however he didn't know what it was. "I have an odd feeling...something is going to happen shortly..." He murmurred slightly as his voice trailed off once again. It wasn't like him to be like this, however he caught himself this time.
"Maybe its just me but I still feel like a stranger around everyone." He attempted to revert back to his normal attitude, however it was quite clear upon his face that his previous little nightmare he had experienced was still bothering him. It made him quite un-easy to be exact.

Saburo chuckled as she mentioned the relationship and shook his head. "Well, you haven't punished them to my knowledge so I'd say your taking it alright, at least. That's some form of relationship, I suppose. That or you can't be bothered to punish them" Saburo contemplated, now beginning to question which was it in his mind until he decided to just forget it entirely.
"Ah, that's good. At least you've made progress. I can't really ask for anything more than that at this time. After all, it will be done when it is done. Nothing to do in the meantime until then really" he added, before listening as the two spoke to each other.
"Something will happen? My, that's kinda mysterious and freaky isn't it? Like those precognition things" Saburo muttered, thinking of a psychic in his head predicting the future. "Ah well, nothing we can do about that. I myself never really believed in fate, but things like this may be a sign. Or they could be completely unrelated!" he exclaimed, having reverted to his more childish, optimistic self.
"A stranger?" he asked, confused by it.

Zuki cocked her head in a puzzled expresion. "Normally I don't believe in that creepy voodoo stuff I have to admit that is abnormal." She scratched her head, "But I'm wouldn't worry about it Renamori, it's probably nothing."
She grinned at him. "You say you worry about people not accepting you, well maybe they would accept you more if you stopped talking to your equals as if they were your higher ups," She hinted. "You don't have to call me Kyohaku Taichou or even Kyohaku, but Zuki or Zuki-chan maybe Zuki-san, I don't care, and I think most of the others aren't so uptight as they would care either, you should try it."
His words still disturbed her, about her promonition like things. It wasn't normal, almost phsycic but she didn't let on that it bother her, just kept smiling.

Looking over at the Soutaichou's puzzled face, he couldn't help but heave a sigh. Perhaps he didn't know what it was like, after all he was more free willed than himself. The Soutaichou always enjoyed being with the other Captains, he didn't like to impose his position on anyone unless it was strictly for business. He was quite an easy going man, despite his 'illness' as he put it. "Oh nevermind Soutaichou." It wasn't like Saburo wasn't concerned, he just probably couldn't understand it never being in the situation probably.
Kyoko felt a bit tongue tied at the moment. It was always a problem when he had spoken with females...however Zuki didn't seem like the typical female. She wasn't as tender, more blunt about things and direct. While this was good, it also wasn't exactly how his friend Yuli acted. He noticed Kyohaku's small grin towards him. It lifted his spirits slightly, however he didn't know if she was being serious for once, or just being fake. "I suppose...Zuki...Chan?" His voice was slightly hesitant as he wasn't quite used to adressing people in a way.

Saburo now merely sat back and watched as events unfolded before him, metaphorically of course. He merely resigned himself to listening as the two spoke to each other and smirked as they talked. Zuki definitely made things clear to people when she spoke. At least now Renamori would stop treating the other Captains as superiors. As he started calling Tsukiyo 'Zuki-chan', Saburo chuckled slightly at his hesitation to say it. Perhaps the boy was shy around girls? Who knows.
At that moment however, Saburo began to cough and brought his hand to his mouth. Once done coughing, he slowly pulled his hand away and looked at it. Blood. He sighed. That illness of his was going to be the death of him someday. Well, technically that could be the case but still, you got the idea. It annoyed him. Looking at the two, he grinned and wiped some blood from his mouth.
"Ah, sorry about that. Normally that doesn't happen so often outside" Saburo told them, as if telling them not to worry about him. Well, they might not have anyway but still.

Raul had gotten up late, yet again. He had been told by his Lieutenant that he had missed a Captain's Meeting. "Great..." He muttered, "Another lecture from Sakata..."
After washing and dressing himself quickly, he left his dormitory. His guess was that there would be a message going to the Captains that missed the meeting, a synopsis. He'd try to head it off. That way, his subordinates could do the paperwork while he strolled around...
Walking into the 10th Division headquarters, after finding nothing at the 9th, he saw three other Captains, including the Soutaichou. "Ah, hello there, Zuki, Kyoko, Sakata..." He said, yawning and listing off names. "My apologies for missing the meeting, of course, but I suppose you'll fill me in..."
He noticed Saburo's illness acting up. "Ah, or is this the wrong time? Were you leaving, Soutaichou? Actually, if you do, I don't have to watch my tongue..." He joked, chuckling...
