Kaishou Nagarashi stepped into the gates of the second division, knowing that because of his white haori that he wore on his back, that no one would stop him. His protocol shinigami sandles made light tip-taping noises as he walked further into the land that the second division occupied. He opened the door of a rather large building and allowed himself in. Kaishou strided down the straight hallways until he noticed a particularly large door with the symbol of the second division captain painted over it.
It was late in the afternoon. Kaishou had finished his paperwork about fifteen minutes ago, the trip from third division to the second being rather short. Kaishou didn't have anything better to do in his division, besides making sure everyone was working. That was boring. The third division captain had decided to explore the other divisions, the second being closest besides fourth. And who wants to visit a hospital?
He raised his right fist and tapped hardly on the large, wooden door.
"Captain Shihouin? Are you there?" He said. He hoped the captain could recognize him as a captain. After all, he wasn't using a tone that most subordinates would use.

Raul sat, at his desk, with his feet up on it. As per usual, he had a bottle of Sake next to him, and was dozing peacefully. However, at the light tapping her heard on his door, he opened his eyes. "Yes..." He responded, "Come on in..."
Seeing the figure walk in, he knew it to be the Captain of the 3rd Division. "Ah, hello there, Kaishou. How are you this fine evening?" He enjoyed the company of this Captain. If anyone were close to his state of mind, it would be him. Of course, Raul was sitting there with the torso of his robe down, his Haori lying on the floor, wrinkled, and nothing on his feet. It could be startling for anyone...

Kaishou stepped into the large office that was supposed to accomadate a lieutanant and a captain. He was messaging his neck with his left hand, while he had his right hand rested at his side. Looking through thin strands of hair, he eyed the white haori on the ground. Everything was unkempt and informal. He smirked, knowing that he couldn't expect anything more of Raul Shihouin.
"Oi, Shihouin-Taichou. Who drinks this early?" He asked. He ventured further into the captain's office, walking up to his desk. "Most people wait until night to become drunk and lazy," Kaishou joked. The third division leader looked down at the Haori again, making sure not to step on it. Even if Raul didn't care, he didn't want to mess it up further. What would it look like with a captain walking down the street, feet stains on his haori?

Raul sighed. "It's NEVER too early to be drunk and lazy..." He responded. "Sit down..."
He poured a cup of Sake for Kaishou. "I'm just happy you were Kyohaku-taichou. Had she walked in on me like this, I'm certain I would no longer be breathing." He laughed. He knew Zuki would not tolerate him disrespecting his Haori and being as slothful as he just was. "Tell me, why have you come? Any particular reason you needed to see me?"

Kaishou laughed at the Taichou's statement. He grabbed for a chair and then sit down to enjoy sake with his fellow captain. He eyed the small cup as the sake was poured into it. Once Raul was finished, Kaishou reached out for the cup. He took small sips. He wanted to make the cup last atleast a little while, not wanting to get drunk when the sun wasn't even setting.
"Well, not really. I got bored. You were the closest captain," he shrugged, "but now that you mention it..Sparring would be good right about now, wouldn't it?" He looked down at the clear alchoholic beverage. "Captains don't see very much action. Wouldn't want to get rusty."

Raul smirked. "Well, I can't say I've ever been rusty, but yes, I do need to train." He walked over to and opened the door. "Shall we head outside?" He inquired, gazing at Kaishou. He had never seen the Captain in battle, but he wanted to test him out. Plus, if he was going to take down Espada, he would have to be able to beat one of his fellow Captains in a simple spar...

Kaishou stood up, setting his sake cup onto the table. He walked over to where Raul was and nodded. "Of course." He knew the following battle would be tough. His opponent had mastered shunpo. He was faster than anyone in the soul society. He could even rival Goddess of Flash Yoruichi. Kaishou did not speak his thoughts, however. If he compared the captain infornt of him to Yoruichi, he knew he would get a sharp remark back.
As he exited the second division building, he stepped into a large courtyard. He figured that the second division captain did not want to damage his own land, so he asked, "So where are we going to spar? Out in the forest?"

Raul smirked. "Right out here is fine..." He said, as they exited the Division building. "How about we let some of my Division see the fun? After all, they can always use a lesson or two." He got into his ready stance, bare fists showing. "Go ahead, I'll let you make the first move. You know my abilities already, so this shouldn't be that much of a hassle for you." He chuckled. "Don't worry...I'll go easy on ya..."

Kaishou nodded and raised both hands. He decided to use a tactic to maneuver to capture Raul with a destructive kido. In his right hand, a blue ball of energy formed. In his left hand, a red ball of energy formed. He then began reciting incantations.
"Dominator... Mask of flesh and blood... all living things...fluttering...that wich has the name of human.. truth and temperance... slightly imbed your claws in the wall of innocent dreams...Ye Lord, Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man, Inferno and pandemonium, The sea barrier surges, March on to the south! " He recited two incantions, the balls of energy in his hands growing.
"Very well, Shihouin Taichou. If you think this will be so easy.. Hado number thirty-one! Red flame cannon!" He shouted as he launched his red ball of energy at Raul, but not his blue.

The Shot of Red Flame hit him squarely, and his body disintegrated...
Well, his afterimage disintegrated. He actually appeared behind Kaishou. "It'll only be easy if you make it easy..." He said to him, chuckling. He then aimed a spinning kick at Kaishou's midsection. He wasn't sure how aware Kaishou was, so he'd start off with a non lethal attack. That way, even if he found that Kaishou had trouble dodging, it would not do much harm...

"Hado number thirty-three! Blue fire, Crash down!" He shouted desperately as soon as the target had disinegrated. He had his arm aimed behind him, launching the blue ball of fire. It was a tactic that he loved using. He wasn't aware of the kick, however, due him focusing his power into his spell. The wind was knocked out of him as he was sent back. He did a back flip, landing on his feet. There was a bruise on his side, but it was no apparent due to his uniform.
"Oi, Taichou. Bad move. Attacking from behind is so boring, so predictable. I launched the first spell, knowing you'd dodge it. That's why I had the second one. Once I saw the after image disapear, I launched it behind me, hoping you'd fall for it," he explained.

Raul slapped the beam of energy out of the way with his open palm. "It's a simple matter..." He began, as energy twirled around his body, "To reverse kido. Especially when I'm using Shunko." He smirked, and tilted his head. "I activated it on my way behind you, thinking you might counter. Good thing, too, because I might have actually gotten a pretty bad burn..." He gazed at his fist. "This technique has been known only to two others, that I am aware of. Both former Captains of the 2nd. Thus...I hope you know of it..." He said, raising his hand and motioned for Kaishou to come at him again...

Kaishou's eyes narrowed. He didn't know Raul was able to use Shunko. If he had known that, he would have used a stronger, more intense kido. Shunko was a problem now, and he had to think of a way around it. He wrapped his fingers around his zanpakutou's hilt, pulling about an inch of the blade out of the sheathe. He pointed his left hand at Raul. "Bakudo! Number sixity-one! Six Rods prison light!" He shouted as thin blasts of golden energy streamed from his finger, forming flat rectangles to trap Raul.
He shunpoed to the right of Raul, making an upwards swing with Dendou Sasori, his zanpakuto. "Of course I've heard of it. I used to be the third seat of the second division, under Soi Fon."

Raul smirked, as he dodged the bakudo. He barely managed to dodge the swipe. "Soifon. She was a great Captain. I remember when she offered to step down, giving my the Captain's seat. I was apprehensive, but she insisted. A great woman, with many morals. I'm happy to have known her..."
With that, he dove at Kaishou, and aimed a punch straight at his stomach, looking to sucker punch him. He followed this punch up with another kick, this one aimed higher, at his chest...

Kaishou listened to Raul's talk of Soi Fon. He remembered her when she was his capatain. He remembered training with her, training for agility, and strength. He bowed his head, his hair falling infront of his eyes. He heard a noise and immediatly jumped up, dodging the assaulting Captain. He shunpoed, appearing right infront of Raul. He thrust his sword forward, aimed below his chest, not wanting to damage any vital organs.
