Rangis used Sonido to dodge the attack, and make his way behind her, tapping her on the shoulder. "You're dead, to someone of my skill..." He said, chuckling. "Keep going, it's enjoyable." He lengthened the distance between them with Sonido, once again, and awaited the next attack...

Aurora frowned as he managed to dodge and taunt her by getting behind her. It was to be expected, but still, it annoyed her no less. Turning around, she proceeded to use her own Sonído in an attempt to catch up. Being the younger sister of the greatest Sonído master, she too was blessed with an incredible Sonído. Not as great as her brother's, but still top-notch.
As she tried to close the distance, she began to fire a rain of Bala towards his feet, causing sand to blow up in his face and blind him. Quickly, she closed the last of the gap and, from below, delivered another vertical slash, this time going upwards, before continuing with a series of sword strikes.

Rangis expected an attack from below, to follow up the attack from above. She was, after all, Gabriel's sister. He would have done the same thing, along with blinding him. Her Sonido was top notch, of course, but Rangis was still a bit better. He jumped to the left, however, without the use of his Sonido, to dodge the attack. At the number of sword strikes, he blocked each of them with his forearm, easily as stronger, or stronger, than any steel...

Aurora frowned as he managed to block all of her attacks with his arms but still continued. Soon enough, she decided on a better strategy and proceeded to swing her blade, only to stop it in a feint attack and disappear, reappearing behind Rangis, where she held out her palm.
"Cero!" she yelled as she fired the attack, aiming to do as much damage as possible. However, her attack still wasn't complete with just that, knowing that he'd easily deal with the Cero. This time, she leapt up and, while he dealt with the Cero, charged up another in her palm. This was tiring for a Gillian but still she persisted and fired another at Rangis from above.

Rangis smirked as he saw her disappear, and heard her reappear behind him. He turned to see the Cero, and reacted quickly. Seeing that she had taken to the skies, he blocked the Cero, throwing it upwards, toward her. However, her second Cero collided with her first, negating the attack and creating quite the light show.
He clapped. "Good strategies. Now the question is, have you any that work?"

Aurora's eyes widened as he managed to redirect the Cero, sending it upwards to clash with her own. That had taken some energy to pull off, and now his taunting was getting to her. Eyebrow twitching she raised her Zanpakutoh. "Shine, Ángel Caído!" she announced and suddenly, a bright light engulfed her form. When the light disappeared, she now had a bow in her hands that had no bowstring, a white halo and a set of angelic wings.
Raising her arm, a bowstring made of some energy appeared and she proceeded to pull on it, an arrow appearing in her bow made of energy. It was sort of like a Quincy bow, but came from one's own reiatsu instead. Smirking, she released and let the arrow fly. As it got closer however, it split apart into hundreds of tiny needles of reiatsu, aiming to pierce his skin.
Following this, she used Sonído to get behind him and notched another reiatsu arrow. "This one will have some more firepower..." she muttered as she let it fly, aiming for Rangis' back.

Rangis watched the needles, ready to counter them with a swipe from his zanpakuto. However, hearing her comment, barely, from behind him, and also sensing her, he jumped into the air, using Sonido to get high above the needles. For the most part, they ran into each other. And those that didn't flew uselessly off to the side. "Come now. You've released. Surely you have some energy left? Push yourself." Rangis said, pushing a piece of hair out of his face...

Raising her bow upwards, Aurora began firing more and more arrows at him, trying to shoot him down. She was getting annoyed at this point, evidenced by her growing frown, and soon she decided to give up on long range and, surprisingly, split the bow into two short blades.
"Sonído Pulsacíon!" she announced, using her brother's technique to disappear and, with an even faster Sonído than before, appeared before him and began attacking with the short blades quickly, using her speed to her advantage in close-range combat.

Rangis dodged each of the shots, and saw her come toward him using Gabriel's technique. Drawing his zanpakuto, he blocked each of the short blades, and, deciding that this was getting old, swung his sword at one of the blades while spinning, in order to knock it out of her hand, and also raised his right leg and kicked at her midsection...

To Aurora's shock, he retaliated despite saying otherwise and one of her blades was knocked out of her hand and into the sand. Following this, she was knocked downwards by the kick and slammed into the sand, which cushioned her fall slightly. Getting up slowly, she looked up at Rangis and frowned. Hadn't he said he wouldn't attack? She decided not to bother figuring out why.
Quickly grabbing her fallen blade, which she had conveniently landed next to, she raised it and notched another spirit arrow. She waited until it was at full power and fired it before proceeding to circle him and fire off similar high-power shots to box him in. Hopefully she could get in a good hit.

Cutting the arrows off path with his zanpakuto, he began to speak. "You wonder, I am sure, why I attacked, despite what I said? The answer is simple. First of all, that was no attack. Had I done that to any worthy opponent, they would slice me to pieces." Blocking another arrows, he used Sonido to come behind her, and whisper quickly, "And if you leaves yourself that open, I have no choice..." Before using Sonido to get away from her...

Immediately hearing him behind her, she spun around and slashed at him, only for her attack to cut nothing but empty space as Rangis got away. As much as she hated to admit it, he was right. She, in her current state, was no match for him. Still, she wanted to make herself look good so she continued.
She stopped and slowly brought her hand up to her halo. Grabbing it between her fingers and thumb, she suddenly threw it at Rangis, the halo acting as a sort of sharp projectile weapon.
Quickly, she followed behind it and, wielding her two short-blades, she waited for him to dodge the halo before she would cut him off and attack him.

Rangis saw the halo thrown, and tilted his head. He had not seen this sort of attack before. Odd...
He dodged it and, seeing the blades, managed to get out of the way JUST before they struck. Using Sonido to get behind her yet again, he filled his hand with Cero, and brought it to the back of her head. "If you've got a projectile weapon, it's always best to save it until you truly need melee."
He sighed. "My taunts provoked you into revealing all that you had, and thus, I was able to 'kill' you." He put his hand down. "You need to detach your ego from the situation. If an enemy insults you, prove them wrong. But do not let it get to your head. The Shinigami are cowards, who will attempt to goad you into making a mistake. If you let them succeed, they will kill you without mercy..."

Aurora, effectively caught by his attack, sighed in defeat. He had won, and proved a point as well. She had let his taunts get to her head so easily. She didn't even bother to finish her plan, grabbing the halo as it came back in a boomerang-like arc. Letting it float atop her head again, it was soon removed from sight as her Ressurecíon form dissolved away, showing the true woman underneath with Zanpakutoh in scabbard.
"I understand, Rangis-ou-sama. I promise, I'll work hard to make sure nothing like it ever happens in true combat. I'll work hard to make you proud" she told him, slowly dropping to the ground. She was hoping to make a better impression, but she guessed that would have to wait. She had to become strong first.
Slowly, she began to walk off, tired, making her way back to Las Noches. She had nothing else left to actually do out in the desert of Hueco Mundo.

Rangis smiled. "One day, child..." He said, more to himself, "You'll be Espada level. If you simply follow me, you'll have all the power you can imagine. Second only to myself, and a few select others..."
And with that promise, he smirked, and suddenly heard a scuffling in the Menos Forest below him. Well, he more felt it. He then plunged through the sand, powering through, attempting to investigate this situation...
